The tester works just as expected , it helped me check if any one of my relays was broken. I one of my light signals wasn’t working. After confirming the relay was bad . I just went to autozone and bought a new one. This is a cheap but very helpful tool to have in my garage’ toolbox

I am a full-time student and a busy mom, so I don’t have the time or the budget for expensive shop visits every time a fuse blows. This circuit probe tester has been a lifesaver for troubleshooting my SUV. The functionality is fantastic since it works for 6V, 12V, and 24V, making it very versatile for different vehicles. The readability of the indicator light is great, which makes it very easy to use even if you aren't a pro mechanic. I was impressed with the sturdiness of the probe and the thickness of the cable; it feels like it has great durability and won't snap if it gets tugged. The compatibility is spot on for checking everything from power fuses to short circuits. It fits perfectly in my hand, and the quality is much better than I expected for the price. This is an incredible value for the money and has already paid for itself with the first repair!

NOTE: In my opinion this tester should not be used on anything higher that 24V with first confirming with either the seller or the manufacturer what the highest tolerable voltage is. Reason being, there is conflicting information between the title and the listing concerning the maximum testing voltage. The title says it's " 6V/12V/24V DC ", however the details say it's 36V. Since it's specifically designed for cars, and while most voltages are 12V DC or less in vehicles, there are exceptions. So without getting too much in the weeds about that, it might be worth engaging the seller or manufacturer for clarification if you plan on using this tester in solar power systems for example.

On to this continuity\circuit tester. As someone with a background in Electronics Engineering Technology, this is hands down my favorite DC tester in my shop that I'm using for both automotive troubleshooting and in my solar power system. My original tester I used to use was lost in a flood so I hastily bought a cheap replacement just so just to have something on hand in case one was needed until I could find something better. For me, this is definitely "something better."

Let's start with the 14.7' length of the alligator clamp cables that connects the tester back to the battery. That allows you to easily test nearly anywhere on a car or truck without having to add extension wires, and that's truly a huge plus over those testers that have only 3 - 4' ones which limits your ability to test as you need to out of the box, and these extra long cables handily solve that problem.

Regarding functionality this perform all of the tasks the description says it does and them some, for those like myself who have other uses for it such as in solar systems. I like how large this tester is 9 1/2" long by 1 1/2"W with 3" alligator clips that open to a maximum of 1"W. The last few pictures show the tester with a tape measure next to it along with a quarter on it (in different places) and on the alligator clip to give perspective. I like how bright and easy to read the interface is as well as all of the LEDs including the white "guiding light" that helps guide the probe in dark areas. The probe itself comes to a very fine needle-like point that allows for easy testing selection in fine areas or if you need to isolate a circuit in a tight group of them. Lastly the auditable alarm is easy to hear.

To the build quality it appears to be well made and doesn't feel or look "cheap." It functions and works exactly as advertised, and for those with a hobby in electronics, this makes a nice digital probe. In my opinion this is a great value at the current price point and is a solid 5 stars and I highly recommend this.

Being a mechanic for over 35 years I have seen alot of different tools and different prices. Pro equipment can cost quite a bit of money, and even some pro equipment even break. Lets face it in these days, who always have that kind of money to shoving out on expensive tools, unless you do this kind of troubleshoot on a day to day basis right? Who can really beat a volt, probe tester for this price, and ways to test 6,12,24 volts with sound and a digital meter. I like how long the cord is, and the clamps look good enough without breaking. Very easy to use, and it will help me with testing shorts and wiring on a couple of projects that I am working on atm.

The digital volt meter shows really good accuracy, and the needle is sensitive when punching through insulated wire without causing damage. The instructions were easy to read and understand in different languages. The is really going to beat using a regular test light in many ways. The only thing that I did not like really, is this does not come with a case but that does not effect the star rating anyway, cause for this price, it is well worth it for it's functionality.

What an awesome little circuit tester/power probe! I've always wanted a power probe but I couldn't justify the price of what most power probes cost.
The led display is easy to read and is foolproof so you wont have to worry about shorting something out as this probe has an overload protection circuit and will produce an audible buzz if it senses an overload/short. This tester also has a white led light near the probe that is super useful when diagnosing in dark environments. This tester will quickly display if you are probing a negative (ground) wire or a positive wire by displaying red light for positive and a green light for negative as well as the actual voltage of the circuit on the led display (see photos).
The absolute best part of this circuit tester for me is the component activation function. I no longer have to get a separate jumper wire to provide positive voltage or negative voltage to a component that I am testing, I can simply press the output power switch and quickly provide positive or negative voltage to the component that I am testing. The video I have uploaded shows how quickly I can determine if the horn on my jeep works or if I have a wiring problem.
The provided instructions are easy to understand and useful. If you are looking for a reasonably priced circuit tester/power probe that is easy to use and not overly complicated, you won't find a better deal. I highly recommend this tester.

i bought this circuit tester to troubleshoot a faulty headlight circuit in my car. It was incredibly easy to use — just clip the alligator clip to ground and start probing wire. love it

Works as intended. Cross checked the readings with a Fluke multimeter and there's a 0.1-0.3 discrepancy which is still good.
